We started out with the goal of creating a lightweight and durable pole but along the way found that a great set of trekking poles can also reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. They are made from more than 80% post consumer recycled materials.
These poles are designed to be collapsed for easy transportation to and from the trailhead so you don’t need to be worried about them being crushed as you throw the rest of your gear in the back of the car

The best way to determine this measurement is to hold a broom handle or similar item in the same way that you would hold your trekking pole and measure the distance from the floor to the top of your grip. The grip on the ecoLite is 6 inches long so it is best to allow about an inch (1″) or and inch and a half (1.5″) above your grip.
For an alternate method you can take the measurement from your elbow to the floor and add 5 inches. This will generally get you close to the correct length.
